am i crazy to move into an apartment where the previous tenants brought roaches

it's a 3 unit building. landlord just told me that the previous tenants brought roaches. he's saying they never had issues with roaches before, and that they've done several treatments of the apartment already.
is it naive to think that the roaches could be gone? i haven't signed a lease yet. it's probably the best apartment i could find rn, other than this issue.
he's offering a rent reduction if i do see roaches after moving in, and he told me about this up front before signing or paying anything

edit: ok i get it😭😭 tragic

saw this guy in our backyard near san carlos ave and cordilleras. seems to be a bobcat, so if you live nearby keep your pets inside!

best campgrounds for swimming in union valley reservoir (and wasp fears)?

planning a monday-thursday tent camping trip late july. as of now i'm seeing at least a few reservations available for most campgrounds that take them in the area. i last lived in CA like 5 years ago and don't remember any useful specifics, so i'm having a hard time choosing between the camgrounds.
ideally prefer a campground with vault toilets, direct walking access to a swimmable area of the lake, and either more spread out campsites or a host who would tell particularly loud partiers to chill out at night. do CA campsites have fire pits or does everyone just bring portable portable stoves? hike-in or no potable water is doable. also huge bonus for a big hike accessible from the campground (which seems like it would be wench creek campground? but it has some negative reviews)
also, i've been looking at the yellowjacket campground... are wasps actually a big issue in this area? are specific campgrounds better or worse for wasps? what do you even do if there's a bunch of wasps lol
thank you any and all info would be great!

house cleaner trying to build a career - interior design, sterile processing, facilities, something else?

i'm a house cleaner and recently got into home organizing as well. i really like my work, am currently self-employed, and my hourly rate is higher than most entry level jobs in my area, but the potential for career and salary growth is obviously much more limited.
i do deep cleans and work with clients with mental health issues, so i've gained a lot of additional skills this way. pivoting into home organizing was a good way to expand my client base and has given me some experience with home design and decoration.

i have a B.A. with a low gpa (because i spent most of college working, lol) so i do meet job requirements for having a college degree, but i probably couldn't get into grad school.

what i'm exploring:

i've looked into interior decoration but it seems like a luxury industry with limited clientele and very dependent on the economy. architecture and interior design seem to mostly require degrees? also the software people tell you to learn seems prohibitively expensive so i'm not sure how i would go about learning Revit or whatever.
i've also looked into sterile processing technician jobs. i'm interested in the work and like the idea of working in hospitals since there are many where i live, and the certification process seems doable but it's unclear how in demand these jobs are.
the other path i've looked into is facilities/maintenance work. i think these jobs require more handyman skills than i currently have though i'm willing to learn.

anything else you might suggest or thoughts on the above options? i'm not in a rush to pivot because i do like my current work. but i would like to build my savings especially because i know as i get older cleaning will become harder.
