most reliable Euro 6 van?

Yea, i got a budget of £10,000.

I'm leaning towards a vw crafter with around 100k on the clock. I need a lwb panel van. But I know I can get a transit cheaper but it seems a roll of the dice as to whether it was serviced properly with the right oil.

Is there anything better or is the crafter / MAN the best bet?

Prob going for a 2017-2019 man/crafter

Delivery driving not seeing how it is worth it..

Ok, havent started yet but im in my 30s and I own a 2023 honda cb125F with barely 1000 miles on it..

Purchased a 52L top box for it.. But then I look at insurance and wtf... It's all crazy prices and it doesnt seem worth it?

For reference I have a full bike licence and 7 years NCB on my motorbike never had an accident. Yet looking on comparethemarket its £1300+ for delivery rider insurance...

Am I doing something wrong or is that just the cost? I thought this could be a bit of a fun way to make some pocket change but not so sure now.

cpc sucks

ive done 21 hours so far.. got another 7 booked for tomorrow and gotta do the final one pretty soon.. I did 3 last month and god it sucked.

Has anyone managed to do all 5 in 1 week.. to be honest that was the plan but I just couldnt hack it.. It was so boring and sitting at my desk staring at the computer was like triggering anxiety as i had to somewhat pay attention.
7 hours of nothing to do.. I can see why people lose their minds when they are stuck in cells with nothing to do.. kinda feels like that.

Rant over. have a good weekend!

Used LWB Van recommendations.

I got no idea what van to buy.. Lol. Yea, I know this is a truck reddit place but I presume most of you have vans in your fleet.

I grew up always owning a transit and they were great.. prone to rust but otherwise golden.

Now looking online apparently the newer transits have terrible issues with the 2.0 engines due to wet belts. I want a van under 10 years old and they all seem to have wet belts. Any suggestions.

I need a LWB panel van high roof etc. Typical pacel delivery driver van. Will be using it as a daily commuter and for transporting my bike around when needed and odd trips to B&Q.

I just really want a big panel van as I miss having one.. So yea any recommendations.. I'm not against getting a Sprinter.. I just heard they are stupidly expensive to service.

Got a budget of around £9000

Sewage class 1 work

I just got no idea what the job is like.

I'm guessing it is Fillng up with a ton of fecal matter / raw sewage from one depot and taking it to another depot as class 1. I'm presuming that you are not really driving that far as there would be no real need to transport waste across the country.

So is it just waste plant to waste plant / depot spending most of your time waiting for your tanker to empty?

These guys always seem to be recruiting so no idea if its the smell or disease that puts people off. But yea, if anyone done it. Curious to what you think.
