After 7 years of going to BB and many more years of my life at other beaches, always looking for a whole, intact one, this summer was finally the summer! I feel so lucky and like the universe wanted me to find her because it was the middle of the day and there were lots of people sitting right near it, it was dry so clearly had been sitting out in the sun and sand for a while, and no one had claimed it. The way I thought my heart was gunna beat out of my chest when I laid eyes on her and realized she was intact!
Hi folks,
As the title says, I’m looking for any calm, flat bodies of water that are great for paddle boarding preferably in or near the Northwest Corner/Mass border. But open to hearing about any as over time I will travel farther.
Would love somewhere also where motor boaters don’t typically go and maybe is a little less populated. I know, I know. It’s a summer weekend in CT, everyone and their mother will be out on the water. But I know there are some places that either don’t allow motor boats or only allow them to go at a slower speed.
If yall are familiar with Lake Winchester in Winchester/Winsted, I’ve already been there but that would be my ideal vibe. Other places I’ve already been:
West Hill Lake- loved it
highland lake- hard no, too many waves from motor boats
Thank you all!!
Me again. This time looking for books that feel like this/have this vibe. If you know which show this is from, I’m not looking for the >!simulation!< aspect. I’m looking specifically for this kind of setting/atmosphere- dark, dreary, unsettling, eerie, tense hauntedesque ship/ocean liner. Maybe with some secretive, morally questionable/grey characters.
As always, prefer mystery/triller/suspense/horror but open to any genre!
Looking for books set in towns with this vibe- rundown, decaying, poverty stricken, dark underbelly, “on the fringes”. Where the state of the town plays a significant role in the plot and characters personalities. Throw-in some corruption, moral decay, drugs, religious trauma.
Would prefer mystery/thriller/horror but open to other genres!
maybe it’s just me, but this song feels like classic Mayday Parade and why I fell in love with them. I mean of course, I’ve loved them through all their growth and change, all their seasons, even when I haven’t 100% vibed with all their new music. They will forever be my favorite band and kept me alive through the worst times in my life. But something about this song feels like falling in love with them for the first time while laying on that park bench at 13 yrs old.
