RT choice- ASA vs Clutch

I rarely ride in traffic and my rides are backroads and 2 lane highways. Should i go clutch or ASA? I did stall out an RT on a demo ride at a light as i did not know how fast to rev and where the clutch friction zone was on the RT. I read for U-turns and tight turns ASA is helpful and read if you go ASA, in manual mode the quickshifter is smoother. Some owners say ASA is too new and just one more expensive potential repair after the warranty period is up. Love to hear thoughts from owners and Dealers.

1300 GS vs 1300 RT

90% of my rides are 70 miles round trip and 10% would be touring 300 miles max round trip. I never go off road. Would you recommend the RT or the standard (not GSA) GS for this type of riding? I keep reading about the fun factor of the GS for the twisty roads and the fact that it does not bake you on hot days. With the touring windscreen the GS may get me 90% of the RT comfort but i wonder if the RT’s low center of gravity edges the GS out.

1300 RT Clutch or ASA

I am rarely in traffic and don't use cruise control. Am I better to go ASA or clutch? The only reason for ASA for me would be low speed U-turns or to prevent stalling at a light.

BMW 1300 RT best color? Triple Black vs Racing Blue Metallic

I'm torn between the two colors. You're more visible on the road with the racing blue and but Triple Black is the best seller. I read that gloss black reveals fine "swirl marks" from washing, while the matte black sections easily show oily fingerprints and dust. Your comments are welcome!

2026 BMW 1300 RT demo with 300 miles vs New Bike

My dealer is offering a $1700 discount for a 2026 1300 RT with 300 miles put on it by an employee. Is this worth buying versus new? I have read some dealers will give you $1500 off of a new one. Also their doc fee $599 document fee includes their dealer fee, administrative fee, and Tag, Title, and Registration at no additional cost. is this a good deal?

Test rode and loved the 1300 RT. List was $33,000. Do dealers discount? Is it worth it to wait for 2027 leftovers for clearance pricing? Also did anyone lower the footpegs?
