Hello fellow Mazda3 owners. This will be my first Mazda and I wanted to know your opinions on this deal as I’m going to look at it later today.

Priced at 10k with 72k original miles on it, it’s also from the original sole owner.

Squeaky clean carfax with regular maintenance records on there and available upon request. It seems the last time brakes were replaced was in 2019. Which seems like I will definitely have to be replacing those unless they’ve done so already and it just isn’t in the carfax report. (Factor that into the price). Tires as well, doesn’t report the last time they were changed. Just rotated and checked.

Is 10k reasonable for this model and trim? Typically I would have liked to have AWD but FWD is fine for me, not a deal breaker.

I would love to somehow negotiate this down to 8.5-9k. That’s what I personally think it’s worth, without having seen it in person yet.

What should I look out for during the test drive? Anything specific I should be feeling for or listening for to determine some issue down the line or immediate?
