Portfolio Questions (new to investing)

Hi, I'm a 27-year-old female who started investing in my Roth IRA about 3 years ago (have been investing in the Fidelity S&P 500 FXAIX), but I'm revisiting my portfolio, as when I started, I didn't learn a lot. I have some questions about how to set myself up for success in the long term.

  1. Should I invest in bonds?

- I know bonds are for stability, but since I'm youngish and don't plan to retire earlier than 60, I think I should focus on growth right now. Are bonds worth it at my age?

  1. I want to include international mutual funds in my portfolio. How should I split my portfolio between domestic and international mutual funds? 60/40, 70/30, 80/20?

  2. Are high dividends mutual funds something worth considering, if I opt out for bonds right now?

Thank you so much for your help and any extra info that would be useful for me!

Books by authors similar to Matt Haig and Fredrik Backman

I’ve been in a reading slump for a while now and I’m finding it hard to find books that keep me until I started thinking, I’ve been liking the writing of Matt Haig (specially his non-fiction works like the comfort book but also his fiction book the midnight library) and Fredrik Backman (specially anxious people).

I’m looking for books that feel similar to the writing of these authors; to me, they feel comforting, like a slice of life, hopeful but still acknowledging the hardships of what it means to be human, and always make you want to live more, fall in love with life more, and make you want to be more kind to yourself and others.

Fiction and nonfiction both welcome!!!
