Sitting outside playing cribbage with my husband. I asked him, "What would you do if you got King, Queen, Jack, Jack, five, five?" He thought about it for a moment and told me which cards he'd keep, and which 2 he'd discard, depending on who's crib it was. My next hand? King, Queen, Jack, Jack, five, ace.
I was sitting in the backseat of our car holding the groceries so they wouldn't fall over while my husband drove us home tonight. I'm sitting there, and suddenly the word "Alien" comes to me. "Alien?" I think to myself? "What's up with that?" I brought out my phone journal and typed, "Alien, spacecraft, UFO."
My husband asked me, "What are you thinking about?" And without missing a beat, zero hesitation, I spewed the words out to him. "Uhh, okaaay? Why are you thinking about that?" "I don't know. It just came to me." I even showed him my journal where I wrote the words down.
Two minutes later, my phone beeped of a notification. Someone commented on a YouTube comment I made earlier. The person's name-- Alien3254.
Has it ever happened to you, where you're on your phone, watching TV or reading a book, and you see something move, perhaps a tiny flash of light, or a shadow, something, suddenly moves out of the corner of your eye, but when you look it's gone? Sometimes it happens when the room is dark and you're watching TV. Something moves really quickly at the corner of your eye. I don't know, maybe I just need my eyes checked.
I'm currently working on a large cross stitch pattern, and since I'm almost done, I was wondering what my next project should be? Lying in bed at night, I decided to browse portrait patterns, and maybe find something I could make for someone.
I browsed around, and found a nice portrait of Dean Winchester from Supernatural. I clicked the listing, to see the dimensions, how many colors, etc. and I thought about buying it ($6) but the problem is that I don't know anyone who's a Supernatural fan. I closed it and couldn't find anything else.
The next morning, I get a text from my friend. He sent me a FB listing on Marketplace. I clicked it, to see it was a signed picture of Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), from Supernatural for sale.
-- There was no possible way my friend could know what I was looking at on my phone. -- In the years we've known each other, we've never talked about the TV show Supernatural. He's only seen maybe a few episodes years ago.
