Back when Aleesia got signed she was signed by Tab Nkhereanye who was with Sony Music mid year he change to Def Jam and told them to sign Alessia before Sony did.. Tab signed Alessia on his very first day at Def Jam in 2014 if Tab didn't leave SONY we could have seen a completely different Alessia under SONY Music

Just wanted to have a discussion about this terrible guy not just about Alessia but many other artists way back in 2015 Alessia was on The Breakfast Club and he asked Alessia some really sexual questions you could tell Alessia felt uncomfortable about the questions he asked her if she smokes weed and if she's had sex with a black guy which is highly inappropriate to ask a guest even more so Alessia was a teenager at the time Alessia isn't the only artist yes said stuff like this too like when he had Logic on the show and talked inappropriate about his sister or in 2015 he had Master P and made sexual remarks about Mercedes a singer signed to Master Ps label or in 2011 he said some stuff to Lil' Mama that made her cry on air.. sorry for the ran but I hate this guy he even admitted to drugging a girl at a club in 2015

How many of you know the original name and why it was changed.. Spoiler the album was gonna be called (Growing Pains) after the main single but Alessia noticed *Mary J Blige* already had a Album called Growing Pains and decided to change the name to (The Pains Of Growing) how many of yall knew this from what I know it was a last minute change

Fun fact: Alessia has a anut who is a singer too Maria Zoe Caracciolo known professionally as Zoe is the sister of Alessia's mother Enza she actually makes music too and has since early 2004 I had no idea she had another musical artist in the family but yes Alessia Cara and Zoe are ethe only singers in the family but it's cool I didn't know this tell now she never had any hits and has never been big she's been in the industry for 20 years doing shows at bars and pubs and some local events in the Toronto area recommend you check her out she's very talented

The discord was fun while it lasted I was banned from it early on for a stupid reason Alessia herself apologized to me in DMs saying i was treated unfairly anyways enough about me it was a good time while it lasted never had more fun as a Alessia fan since. It felt magical sadly it was shutdown for many reasons Alessia actually told me why she shut it down in the first place honestly since day one it had problems like a ton I was a admin behind the scenes and man it was messy like relly messy (I actually did all the chatrooms yall remember the names and the emojis that was me) do any of yall remember the discord times because I miss them we had so much fun actually talking about Alessia in this big chat room that had so many of us man I miss it what's ur guys best memory from that time??

Just wanna talk about Alessia and her finances so Alessia has made roughly $75 million in revenue over her career she only takes home 10.7% on average leaving her with $8,043,750 after taxes now that's no small amount but Def Jam has taken 60+ million dollars for doing nothing in the last 7 years when I say she's better off independent I mean it it's sad and it's not just Alessia it so many artist getting taken out of 10s of million now it's not our place to talk about her finances but I feel like she's not getting her worth like many artist taking 85-90% of a artist income is insane to me and I'll never stop saying how much better off shed be independent
