CATerpillar done by Delta at Endless Ink Tattoo & Piercing in Denver, CO

So I impulsively went to the shop on my lunch break - I’d just gotten a tattoo and idk was riding that high and wanted another.

I told the guys at the shop I wanted something for the shop minimum, a piece of flash is fine. The artist they assigned me wanted to do something custom, though, so drew this up after chatting with me a little bit.

Now I love my little dude!

Outlaw Froggy - done by Sheridan at Tatsu Tattoo in NC

Design done by the artist as well. Ended up being a great fit for a gap I've been wanting to get filled with something fun.

What's your take on AI designed tattoos?

A buddy of mine is getting his first tattoo on Sunday and he made it with nano banana. I'll hold my thoughts, what do you think?

Friend did my first tattoo! @oat.miilku, Halos and Horns, San Francisco, California US

Hi everyone! Wanted to share my beautiful first tattoo ever, done by my friend! It’s based on the lily of the valley flower in real life but more of a reference from Animal Crossing Jacob’s Ladder!

Moon knight by me (@rox__tattoo) in chasing ghosts, cork city, Ireland

Moon knight I did, client wanted the new suit from the marvel show and I sort of blended that with the messy blackwork vibes found in the older comics. Had a lot of fun doing this! (Also copies amounts of stress obvs).

does anyone else forget they have tattoos?

i got my first tattoo back in 2020, with my first big piece on my arm in 2024. I got another big one two weeks later. then needed to fill more space so I got another one in 2025. I still have plenty of real estate left.

but literally I see them on my body so much, and I did get them impulsively (unknowingly manic) and I appreciate them so much because that was the era I was in. I don’t regret it but I do wish I would’ve thought about it, not that I would’ve listened at the time.

but now I look at my arm in awe all the time, like wait??? how did this literally get here? it’s not just skin? it’s pictures on my skin. there’s something in my skin that’s permanent. beautiful pieces by my trusted artist since 2022.

and man I hate when my allergies flare up, weather, or medication changes because my tattoos are the first thing they attack.

Need Advice, First Tattoo and Deep Regret

Got my first tattoo-- big chest fractal. Went to an artist who seemed well known in the area, socials looked good, his tattoos in sacred geometry looked good. I should have seen the multiple red flags in his practice (wont go into them here as Im not sure if it's against the rules to do so) but I was an idiot who decided to 'trust the process' as he'd say. End tattoo looks nothing like the design that we agreed on and now I'm out of 1.8k with a tattoo that looks like he gave up on halfway and Im equal parts devastated and just numb from the whole experience.

Is it worth it to reach out to him and ask for at least a partial refund? How should I go about asking for that? Should I just accept that's 1.8k gone on a big, sharply painful something I'm going to have to get worked on AGAIN to get it somewhere close to what I wanted or get covered up? If someone was deeply disappointed in a tattoo you did that looked nothing like the design you agreed on, how would you want them to approach you asking for a refund on it?

Cycling and tattoos

Getting a tattoo tomorrow on my upper forearm, it’s fairly small. Was planning on cycling to and from the appointment, it’s only about an eight minute cycle. I’ll be wearing a light jacket so it’ll be covered up. But just wanted to know people’s thoughts?

Does the ink on a tattoo after or before the skin heals count as an injury biologically?

If not, what is it? It’s not part of the body biologically

Seeking advice

I would like a Tyr tattoo incorporating knotwork along with the associated rune, however because I’ve read a bit that alot of norse imagery or runes have unfortunately been co-opted by far right ass hats im really worried that no matter the context of my reasoning for Liking Tyr, anyone seeing it would assume that im a white supremacism supporter?

Booking matching tattoos?

Hello! My mom, sister, and I want to get matching/related tattoos. I've booked tattoos just for me before, but I'm not sure how to approach booking this sort of thing. We would want the same artist to do all three, and the design would be similar, but should we fill out three different consultation forms? Or just the one consultation form and mention the plan in the box about the design? Thanks!

ETA: Just wanted to hear what other people who have matching tattoos did! I know it depends on the artist.
