I believe I was exposed to bedbugs on a recent trip - confused about the advice I see regarding vacuuming. how do I vacuum my house and not possibly spread bedbugs or eggs around? like if I’m using the same vacuum in different rooms couldn’t that be a problem? some say to vacuum up de earth but I also read that ruins the motor. I have a bag less Dyson and know to dump the canister in a bag outside but really don’t want to have my cleaning attempts make things worse. help?

i am very careful about bedbugs when I travel but just encountered a new situation. bed bugs on the airplane. looking for ideas on how to avoid this or transportign them off a plane in future. i got lots of bites in areas that touch the seat and found a shed skin stuck to my phone case so pretty sure thats what got me. i fear i am already doomed for this trip bc I didnt change my clothes as soon as i got home (didn’t see bites until next day). as soon as I realized i put everthing I had on plabe through the dryer but maybe too little too late. time will tell. what I do to keep them away and not hitch a ride in future.
