Seeking Guidance for Next Steps

I’ll try to make the context here as brief as possible 😅

A little over 3 years ago I injured some muscles in my upper body rock climbing, and subsequently injured some lower body muscles running about a month later. Since then, none of these issues have healed and I’ve been plagued with muscle/joint soreness so bad I haven’t been able to exercise or play sports since. I’ve also struggled with other symptoms such as headaches, dry mouth, brain fog, etc.

I’ve exhausted every option in my provincial healthcare system. My doctor has requested every blood test under the sun, and referred me to every potentially relevant specialist (internal medicine, neurologist, infectious diseases, rheumatologist, etc.). I also tried alternative treatments like physio, chiropractic care, and massage, none of which had any benefit.

A little over a year ago I got in touch with a naturopath in a different province who was listed on Dr. Neil Nathan’s website and have been receiving treatment from her since. The clinic she works at has a LLMD, and a lot of their patients deal with similar unknown chronic illnesses. Since then, I’ve undergone 4 months of antibiotic treatment (Doxycycline, Azithromycin, Hydroxychloroquine) for Lyme, months of herbal tinctures, months of various mold binders, and most recently my treatment has included Low-Dose Naltrexone and some mitochondrial support. There’s been a ton of additional things she’s prescribed to help support my treatment, but I believe those are the main treatments.

I’ve yet to reconnect with her since the most recent treatment didn’t have any results, so I’m unsure what her next recommendations might be - I was maybe under the impression that we were starting to get to the end of her list of options.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for treatment, specialists, etc? I would love to hear input on what has worked for some of you, which might help me in guiding my treatment going forward.

Any and all input is greatly appreciated, thanks!
