Change in RDO

I transferred from RDO 029 to 017A nung monday thru ORUS but until now di parin nagre-reflect ang new RDO. Kahit dun sa system generated COR, old RDO parin lumalabas.

Anyone went thru the same route successfully? Ayoko na sana bumalik ng Manila para lang sa transfer 😣

Missed tax filings for a few years, now want to become compliant again. Anyone with a similar experience?

Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone here has gone through a similar situation.

Here's my timeline:

- May 2022 – Registered as a self-employed freelancer under the 8% income tax option.
- November 2022 – This was around the time I gave birth. I stopped filing because my freelance work became very unstable. I would only get small projects here and there, and the income wasn't even enough to pay the bills—just a little extra money.
- November 2023 – I visited my RDO in Manila (where I was originally registered). I paid my annual registration fee, and they checked my account. They told me I had no open cases at that time. I still didn't have stable income then.
- April 2026 – I finally got a stable client and now want to become fully tax compliant again.

I also now live in Tarlac, so I plan to transfer my RDO.

My questions are:

  1. Should I just resume filing my current returns starting with my 2026 filings?
  2. Or should I first request another Open Case Verification before filing anything?
  3. Has anyone here transferred to a new RDO while having missed filings?
  4. Were you required to file all the missed returns, and roughly how much were your penalties (excluding the actual tax due)?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this. I'm trying to do things the right way and prepare for whatever I might need to settle.

Thank you! 🙏
