Just discovered energy-based scheduling and feel like I've been doing productivity wrong for years

Got an Oura ring a while back mostly for sleep tracking. Didn't expect it to change how I plan my week but here we are.

The readiness score made it obvious I have maybe a 3-4 hour window of actual peak focus each day, usually mid-morning. After that I'm running on fumes. I kept scheduling like that window didn't exist and wondering why I felt behind.

Tried LifeStack which automates this using your Oura data - cool idea, but just went back to doing it manually in Google Calendar for now. My system is pretty low-tech: sticky note on my monitor, morning check-in, move blocks around if needed.

Is anyone doing this more systematically? Feels like there should be more conversation about this in productivity spaces.
