How America Outsourced Thinking—Part 2: Radio Was the First Social Media

Never thought I’d see the War of the Worlds broadcast likened to misinformation on social media.

Interesting opinion. I guess my main takeaway is there are certain tradeoffs to 1930s radio mainstream and today’s social media mainstream with the most obvious one being hyper-individualized realities.
