MCR’s “Mama” always felt huge to me — my piano take
Mama always felt huge to me, and I wanted to get its dark, theatrical vibe under my fingers on piano and try to recreate some of what makes it hit so hard.
Did this version work for you?

MCR has been with me since my teens, and Cancer is one of those songs that never really left.
I started piano at 30 with no musical background, and this is my take on it:

What stood out to you?
If you do listen on YouTube, I’d genuinely love your thoughts there too.
I started learning piano to reconnect with the songs that never really left me from my teenage years. Here is my piano take on The Kids From Yesterday.
What feeling does it leave you with? Please feel free to share your honest feedback :)
I tried turning The Kids From Yesterday into a very simple, quiet piano version.
Not trying to copy the original — more like capturing the feeling in a stripped-down way.
I’d really appreciate your honest thoughts:
– Did it hold your attention, or did your mind drift?
– Were there moments that felt empty in a bad way?
– Did anything actually hit emotionally?
Just trying to understand what works and what doesn’t.
