I like the new colors and the birds coming back. How does everyone feel about these less Ed Sheeran'd models

I'm looking at some of my older guitars and then looking at how good the SE Line is now and the recent Knaggs era guitars that they've released the Starla, Mira and the Vela and they are as good as my USA Models both pre and post factory. Ive written about these guitars and have had lots of time with the SE versions too. I've got a brand new 2023 Standard 22 in NOS that I'm struggling to come up with a reason to spend $500 on. I don't want it since I have so many guitars and I don't think I can make any money off of it because the market is so bad and given how good the new S2s are with Nitro and USA hardware I feel like this is a waste of $500. Someone convince me otherwise. This is a poly finish with import pickups and electronics or as I like to call them the American SEs. Curious about everyone's thoughts on these.
