I’m currently in the process of joining new company and they’ve initiated a background verification process through a third party agency.

My previous employer shut down operations, I did receive an experience letter and release letter. They didn’t provide my last payslips, I created one myself based on my actual salary structure(the numbers are accurate) I’ve also submitted my salary structure and offer letter to them

My concern,

I’m worried whether this self-created payslip could cause issues during background verification, even though the compensation details are accurate.

How deeply do companies typically verify payslips in such cases?
