I’m fairly new to cosplay and I need some advice on a project I am working on. I’m making a wooden staff and I’m using wire for branches because they are flexible yet sturdy. Now I’m looking for something that can form around the wire to hide them while still maintaining the flexibility of the wire even after several days of use
It’s fine if the material takes some prep work in order to make it mailable again I just don’t want it to become permanently hard or melt in hot environments
I considered using polymer clay and then just not baking it, but i wasn’t confident i could get it back into a moldable state after a few days drying in the sun
