Using Zipcar for a small move too risky?

I'm a college student leaving a dorm in Manhattan for apartment in BK early June. I don't have any furniture, just lots of clothes and cookware and a ton of plants, so I was thinking of using a Zipcar SUV for the move (plus to drive my parents to the airport later in the day). I also thought it might be useful for furniture pickup later on. I already put down the 50 bucks for the student year-long membership for zipcar and my application has been approved, but I did more digging and apparently zipcar is kinda buns now so I'm a bit nervous. I have a hard deadline to be out of the dorm by noon- any advice?

Do i hedge my bets and just get a uhaul instead, if thats cheaper/more reliable or just try my luck with the zipcar?
I wish i knew that uhaul is open to under 21, but at least gas is included for zipcar, that might be worth it nowadays.
