Diet/exercise advice after reduction needed

hello there lovely people!!
i’m scheduled to get my reduction in a little under a week. I am so excited to literally get this weight off my chest lol!
I have some general things i’d like to do for myself for this surgery. the biggest one is that I want to get my diet/eating back under control and focus on being healthier and upkeep my surgery results. i’m not even sure this is the best place to put this post, but I feel like it will at least help point me in the right direction. i’m really sorry if this is the wrong place to post it!
For background info, I’m a 20 year old female who has dealt with obesity my entire life. my current weight is 225 and my binge eating disorder has absolutely gotten out of control with the stress of finals and many other big events going on in my life.
I really want to focus on eating better so I feel my absolute best while recovering- as well as, like I mentioned, maintaining results and hopefully kickstarting a weight loss in the hopes that this surgery will make exercising much easier. (i’m also supposed to get on wegovy at some point too, just waiting on insurance approval.) Obviously I’m not going to be hopping out of bed on day 1 of recovery to exercise, and I know I’ll have to slowly build my body back up again. I just want to actually be prepared and use this as an opportunity to hit the reset button and really work on myself.
I have no idea what research to do and where to start, though. I have a basic understanding of proteins, calories/calorie deficit, which workouts do what (like cardio for weight loss, weights for muscle gain) but I have absolutely no idea how to apply any of that information to my life and diet, especially after a reduction. I would benefit from some sort of book or blog or something that would make understanding and applying all of this easier.
I was hoping some of yall would have some advice or recommendations so I didn’t feel like I was just blindly choosing things and hoping for the best lol.
Once again apologies if this isn’t the right subreddit and thanks so much for taking time to read <3
