I’m not a producer, but I make VOCALOID covers, so I’ve come across a handful of gen AI songs in the community in the past year. This song is frequently used in TikToks and Reels on my fyp. I finally decided to check it out and it feels very… off. The lack of description and credits, along with the thumbnail give heavy AI vibes. There’s also the way the synths sound; I’ve heard it in a lot of AI slop vsynth songs. It doesn’t help that there’s a ton of AI covers of it.

What do you guys think? Is this whole song or even any portion (the vocals or arrangement) AI slop, or am I overthinking it?

Do these guys spend their free time hunting for shiny Pokemon on their 3DS’ or Switches? Or are they Pokemon card scalpers? If it’s the latter reason, that’d suck.
