Gotcha Day

Today is Bau's 3rd Gotcha Day.

We found her taking shelter near our front door 3 years ago. She was full of mange and parasites. She was so scared she seemed to want to melt into the wall if you looked at her. She soiled herself when I placed food near her.

Her body was fixed pretty quickly. Her spirit, though, has come a long way, but it may never be fully fixed. She is smart and pretty resilient, though.

3 years ago today, we added a new family member.
