My gf(19f) barely responds to me(18M) and it kind of hurts
Me and my gf have been dating for around 4 months now and while I do love her a ton some stuff is starting to get to me and I was wondering if I'm just overthinking or its something i need to actually talk to her about. I know that some people aren't big texters which is fine, but whenever I do text her, they just go unanswered like long response times would be fine with me I work 9 hours a day most of the time, so I get being busy. Normally this wouldn't be an issue because I could just call when I get home but even then, it feels like I'm carrying the conversation mostly.
The main issue comes from today where we both were off and I will admit this was me being somewhat petty but instead of messaging I just waited for her to initiate something and ended up falling asleep at around 5 and she called me shortly after that. I woke up to her saying it feels like I'm starting to brush her off and we were both off of work today and we had barely talked. The issue I have with this is she does the same things when it comes to texting (which I prefer as I suck at talking) but I've started working on calling more after I voiced that i would like her to at least try to respond to some of the stuff I send and I understand she doesn't like texting but if I'm working on calling more she can also work on responding to text more she ignored it and went to sleep. This isn't just texting either if I send her stuff on Instagram (which she told me to download I don't like it much) she just fully ignores it also. She says she loves me, but it really feels like I'm not important to her sometimes .
I'm kind of at a loss here communication is important to me, and I really do love her and want this to work out really need advice on how to work through this (sorry if this is written badly I'm tired and I don't have glasses on)
