Incoming freshmen living in an open double in Shaw hall (third floor). We are both architecture majors and understand we will have some weird hours. That would generally be a good reason to get a microwave, however Shaw hall has a dining hall built in and to my knowledge has microwaves in the lounge of every floor. Is it worth it?

I’m building an underground room and looking to add lighting other than simply lanterns or torches. It’s mostly stone, diorite, and andesite with spruce accents. Any suggestions that fit a more rustic theme?
