Is it normal for your application to only take 2 weeks at the state level? They requested work history and ADL forms at the beginning of May which I sent back within the week. It then updated that they were requesting medical records and would review. I just logged in and now it says it's moved to step 4 for final review. This is for my dad but I am shocked it got through the state so quickly when the average is 217 days. He has rare cancer and currently is not getting treatment because his last round almost killed him and he spent almost 2 months in the hospital. He has bone mets, is 64 and has always worked very physical jobs. Is this a good sign? I've been dreading this whole process taking forever.
