Without the super dock, what are our options to play the N64 core?

Snac isnt an option.

Mapping N64 buttons onto modern controllers is a nightmare.

Anyone have any luck with Bluetooth or usb N64 controllers that just work with the core without any messing around?

Especially during cut scenes which of course there are a lot of. I mean the whole game is pretty much one big cutscene. I've read that you turn wi-fi off to save on CPU or something. Trying to do that in scripts, there doesn't seem to be an 'off' button for the wifi radio. any ideas?
