Does creatine cause kidney disease if you can’t drink a lot of water

I can’t drink a lot of water because I pee a lot! And I find it annoying to always excuse myself to use the restroom. I’ve been taking creatine for years but on and off but recently I’ve been consistent for 6 months. I love the strength gains that come with it but I heard that someone had to go on dialysis because they took creatine for years without drinking a lot of water. Is this true? I’d rather quit creatine if it affects my kidneys because I truly cannot get more than 2L of water a day.

3rd day of my training shift (NOC)

They put me with a trainer who was so sweet and soft spoken so that was cool. But they gave us the hardest section. There were 14 patients and 13 need to be changed. 2 people were constantly awake on the floor and kept ringing the call light ALL NIGHT and were very particular about how they want things done. On top of that, 4 of the patients were 250lb+ and cannot turn by themselves. One lady was even combative and kept throwing hands at us. I was surprised that she was able to do some of the pulling and rolling as she was quite small. She told me that the last time she got this section she cried because she was getting zero help. And that day it took her 4 hours to finish changing everyone. But since I was here today to assist, we managed to finish everyone in 2 hour 40 minutes. I do a lot of heavy lifting in the gym but this is the first time in a while that my lower back is feeling sore even with the bed raised up. Just holding the heavy combative patients is a workout in itself.

Tomorrow is my first shift/second orientation day as a CNA. I’m so scared of looking clueless

During clinicals, I just did brief changes, peri care, feeding, and making beds. My clinical instructor did not allow us to transfer patients out of bed because she was afraid of losing her license. Also, I only was able to observe 1 shower during clinicals and I don’t exactly remember the steps to it. The clinical site I did my clinicals at was really bad. There were like 4 CNA clinical classes going on and the CNAs were constantly too busy to show us how to do things.

Is going into CNA and nursing tolerable for someone with level 1 autism and ADHD?

I’m about to start orientation tomorrow 😩 I’m excited but at the same time scared and don’t know what I got myself into. And because of my condition, I hate starting new jobs because I don’t know what to expect. Can anyone with autism or ADHD relate? And please tell me it worked out for you in the end

Is it possible to balance 3 NOC shift and 1 or 2 all day serving shifts?

The 3 NOC shift is for the CNA job on weekday and the 1 or 2 shifts would be all day (10:30AM - 11PM, restaurant job on weekend)

Is it easy to pick up shifts/ask for more shifts/pick up OT shifts?

I got hired for part time but I’m really thinking about quitting my weekend job since it aligns more with my goals of becoming an RN. If I quit though, I won’t have enough hours. But I was wondering would it be easy to pick up shifts or even do overtime shifts? First time CNA here.

Why is it so hard to find AM only shifts?

I’m not a night person and cannot work nights and overnights as I fall asleep too easily. But there’s so few AM only shifts. I live in LA and willing to drive 25 miles but none of them want AM only availability. I’m even willing to take a lesser pay for it.

Please help! Does this look like permanent nail matrix damage?

5 weeks ago, I had a nail crush injury which caused 2/3s of my nails to partially split and there was trapped blood inside for about 2 days. I bandage it up and I kinda messed up because I was keeping it bandage for pretty much 1 week straight because I didn’t want to see my own nails hanging out like that. So then 2 weeks later, the damaged nail finally fell off and it started growing. But where it’s growing near the cuticles is completely white and there’s a weird gap/lifting between my nails and the nail bed. I can’t really see a specialist doctor because I don’t have the insurance plan for it. I really don’t want my nails to grow into an ugly shape—or worse..get fungus. For those who have knowledge on this stuff, what do you think? I was told to basically remove the entire nail and let it grow a completely new one for 4-6 months but I feel like it doesn’t warrant completely moving the entire nail. But the detached nail is really bothering me because I’m scared of putting pressure on it even more.
