Accommodations and/or FMLA
US-based friends - do you have accommodations set up at your work? If so, which ones? What about FMLA so you can take more days intermittently throughout the year? I was diagnosed as a young adult and I’m realizing now that there are many job protections I wasn’t aware that I could have access to as a T1 diabetic. Would love to hear about your experience and perspective! Plus, it would be great to have this kind of thread as a practical resource.
