My entire life I have always had white walls and this is my first home and wanted to truly make it my own. I saw this color in a magazine and tried it out and well.. I want to have maximalism on it so any advice appreciated

I work in a big Indian Corporate. Today, my whole team was in the office and one of them started talking about how it's important that everyone should be taught about the dangers of how Muslims convert people and how it is so prevalent.
Then they started talking about The Kerala Story and how it's so true to life and highlights critical issues in the country today. And other vile bullshit which I don't even wanna write down.
We're a team of 12 people. And everyone was agreeing with the person vehemently! This is all happening in Mumbai btw.
I just had to walk out of the meeting room it got so extreme.
In situations like these, i always wonder what the best approach would be. I've tried to reason with such people before but imo it just cements their beliefs even further. It's just frustrating that such instances are only increasing.
