Some twist that I think would happen is this.

That Nozomi's mother death is foul play and not a suicide I'm surprised that the the vanilla didn't go into Nozomi's mother death scene that is why she went with into one of the empty pod in her own free will.

Another the Humanity Scientist have stay behind and have their own little base somewhere on the planet where they monitor us incase something happens. Also there would saboteur among them.
