FSR Phenom 300E my observations
Take this with a grain of salt as I'm and old-time simmer, I couldn't care less about career mode (never even clicked on it), I just like to flight aircraft from A to B and have the most realistic representation of the plane in the sim.
It is extremely good in many aspects but:
- No ROAS (a critical system in the 300E and key distinction from the 300).
- No VSD (honestly hard to explain).
- No CWS (it is one of the most used features by real pilots, Flysimware got it right with the Lear 35 where it is called manuv).
- Yoke buttons not clickable. (so no quick way to start the chrono...)
- Yaw damper does not engage without AP turned on (this hurts).
- No persistence of cockpit switches.
- No autothrottle (it is a very new feature in the 300E but still many aircraft in MSFS have it)
On a more personal and subjective note I'm not a fan of the cockpit lighting.
Now everything else is really very nice but I wish Raul would have spent all the hours he spent in the FBO and other gimmicks working along Working Title in making the avionics better. Having ROAS in a 300E is certainly more important than being able to setup your logos in the FBO, at last for some of us.
Great aircraft and as usual Raul is fantastic with support totally worth it I just wish we could have the whole thing some day.
