My plane keeps falling out of the sky

Hello all,

I don't know why, but whenever I attempt to do a long haul flight, my plane ends up crashing. I have no idea why and I was hoping that you guys would know as to why my plane keeps falling out of the sky? All I do is set up the autopilot and let it do its thing. It's been a reoccurring issue for a long time now.

Edit: sorry, for clarification. I fly the pmdg 777-300er and fuel is not an issue. When I crash, I'm at a good level for fuel. And I don't have simrate on at all.

FSLabs A321 neo flips on load

FSLabs A321 neo flips and rolls, and do crazy things on load. I tried on few different airports, multiple stands, and it's always the same. Anyone knows what the...?!?

Edit:
I've discovered that it has -8076% MAC on load, after importing weights from SimBrief. Cool.

Is it time for me to make the switch to 2024?

Hey guys, I’ve been playing MSFS 2020 for years now and I tried 2024 some months back and it was quite the unfinished mess. I’m curious if it’s time for me to make the jump to 2024? I have a pretty good pc and I generally do a mix of GA and airline flying. Just curious if you guys find it stable enough for me to delete 2020, thanks!

Trying to Troubleshoot Issues and I'm not certain what is going on.

I was taxing to take off in a mission moments ago, and I was drifting to the left even on the ground. I have the dead zones set for my rudder/foot pedal control, so I don't think that is it anymore. Then I looked at the external view to see if I could see if any of the control surfaces were moving or biased towards a specific direction, then I see the wings twitching like this. What is causing this? I imagine this is causing issues while flying?

Best HOTAS for a beginner?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if someone who has a bit more experience with HOTAS systems could sway me in the right direction. I’m relatively new to flight sims. I have played them on and off but with my new computer upgrades I’m looking for a good HOTAS to play MSFS 24 with. I’m not entirely sure what to go for as there is so many options. I’m looking for the best all round stick and throttle and I have a budget of around £400. What should I got for? Thanks!!

MSFS2024 crashing during cruise with no prompt as of why

Hello everyone!

I recently got a new computer with the current specs below, however I have not been able to do a successful flight yet with the simulator crashing somewhere between 40 minutes and 2 hours into cruise.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 265KF (3.90 GHz)
Installed Ram: 32.0 GB (31.5 GB usable)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (16 GB)
Storage: 502 GB of 932 GB used

All of my drivers are up to date and this is the event log from the MSFS2024 crash:

I've tried doing flights in different areas of the world and different types of airliners (A330, A321, 737, 747) and i have removed everything from my community folder, however the crashes keep on happening.

Does anyone know where I am going wrong with this and how to fix it? I've brought it back to the computer shop who made the computer and they've swapped out everypart and done multiple stess tests and all have passed, which makes me believe it is a software issue.

Thanks!

VOR navigation

I just started getting the hang of vor navigation after buying the A2A comanche and it’s been so much fun. However, Ive now started flying into areas where the stations are DME only, and Im really confused how to navigate that with no directional function, and Id really like to understand how to do it so I dont have to swap to a GPS unit yet😅

Why the Fokker 100 Systems Surprised Me - Analysis

What Fokker 100 Systems I Found the Most Interesting

So, with the help of Fokker 100 AOMs, I’ve been doing a deep dive into the systems. I’ve found (and am still learning) many interesting quirks that you simply can’t get from an addon manual. Here’s what I found interesting, which is helping me get the most out of my JF F100 addon.

I also made a video where I am going through the full cold and dark to landing sequence by the book. https://www.youtube.com/live/IlkMp-1tAQ0?si=GzBVZuSrN7KR1k_G

APU**:** The systems are actually very modern and smart. The APU page is automatically presented when the start selector is positioned from OFF to ON. After approx. 2 minutes at operating speed, bleed air will be available. Interesting to note that, inflight, the APU can supply electrical power only.

AFCS: Very similar to the A300-600 in terms of nomenclature such as PROF for VNAV and even map modes. The Pull/Push buttons for speed, HDG, and ALT are very much like the MD-11. Furthermore, LVL change mode is activated automatically when the altitude knob is pulled, provided no other mode is selected.

FMA: The subscripts like IAS_E, IAS_T are fascinating – it tells you whether your IAS or Mach is being controlled by the Elevator (e.g., LVL change mode) or by Thrust (e.g., in a V/S Climb).

Standby Panels: Quite a unique cockpit layout equipped even with standby Engine Instrument panels and Warning Panels.

At last, Atlantis.

Not really, but if you want to visit this terrain bug, use coordinates: 41.790, -124.302

Around the World for PS5.

I broke these up into expeditions. Each expedition is roughly 4-6 hours long. I’m doing one leg at a time as I’m also doing these in VR.

Spent quite a bit of time making this in the online flight planner and saved each one as separate expeditions.

Wanted to share the flyer if anyone wanted to create their flight plans along with it, or cherry pick the ones that interest you.
