Hello!
Does anyone know what the story is with iFly's 737 Max SP1 update? I've tried to look on their Discord but I'm old and don't really know how Discord works so I'm none the wiser. I had read it was due out in Q2 but nothing more than that.

I’m still learning PMDG 777, so I could be missing something, but on multiple occasions I’ve been unable to extend the gear on approach.
I pull the level down, it comes down, but the gear itself does not extend. The lever is also stuck down and I can’t move it back up. I have had to resort to using the alternate gravity gear extension with the doors open. Anything I’m missing or is this a bug?
New to msfs 24 and picked it up for ps5. Enjoying career mode so far. Got a few certifications and started out near LAX and have since started my own company doing light cargo.
My only plane is a Cessna 172 skyhawk and I usually can take off and gain altitude with no issues in California and even Florida but for some reason, my plane can never gain altitude in the mid west. I start missions in Nebraska or Oklahoma and even at full throttle, I can’t reach past 70 knots most of the time even with flaps and once airborne, I struggle just to gain altitude. I keep getting the stall warning and often crash into the hills or mountains because I can’t gain altitude.
Again I’m trying to slowly gain altitude but cant pitch up too much because my airspeed keeps hovering around 50 knots so I get the stall warning and eventually crash.
What am I doing wrong?
I got the YF-23 from the marketplace today. I started on the parking area for a cold start. When I point at the chocks, covers on the engines, etc, to remove them, they are not highlighting and are not intractable. I checked the EFB and all the Checklists are missing.
Can someone else with this jet please check if your checklists are visible on this aircraft and let me know? And could you test if you can remove the chocks, pitot covers etc on the outside and climb the ladder? Then I can confirm if this is a wider issue or just in my case. Thank you.
I’m building a flight panel and would like some insight into this before ordering toggle switches.
I mainly enjoy doing these, both planes and helicopters, but the career mode seems to just want to shove sight seeing, vip transports and such to me. I only want to do the things I listed in the title.
I know neofly exist but I haven't tired it, would that fill the role? Does it expand on the types of these missions more than career mode?
I watch some high qualities videos of others of flying at night and they seem very realistic with darker screen and darker clouds, in my game clouds are too bright and the night is too gray, instead of black. Am I doing something wrong?
I fly around the NTTR quite a bit. Was coming up toward Homey from Desert Rock / Mercury, Nevada. As I was coming up toward the Papoose Dry Lake bed, I noticed these...Never seen them before. Theres 1 on each end of Papoose Lake running North to South -- Has anyone ever seen this before? I fly around here a lot, have flown over Papoose Lake multiple times and have never seen this.
Is it a glitch or?
The Jaguar GR1 and it’s a absolute dream to fly.
I heard someone ask this week. "What do you do during cruise during flights?" Well. I do this a LOT.
I have no idea why my 777 is doing this, its only started doing it today and it's never been an issue before, and I don't think I've been doing anything differently. When the plane turns as per its flight plan, the magenta path seems to break. It's not a discontinuity, the plane will fly the first part of the magenta path as shown then will suddenly bank over to its limit left or right to intersect the second bit of the path, then straighten itself out again. It's almost like it has the right turn profile calculated, but only executes it at the actual waypoint as opposed to beginning the turn slightly before, it sort of reminds me if you went into an A350 and programmed every waypoint as overfly instead of just letting it do its thing...
Any help much appreciated <3
I'm getting a very weird issue in career mode flights thats caused me to crash a couple times now, and im wondering if this is actually realistic, or if its the game being weird/buggy/glitchy.
I'll be on approach, getting closer and closer to the runway, with autopilot off, and the plane is descending normally. Maybe a bit of wind sometimes and I have to adjust left and right, up and down, but I can handle that. Then, about half the time, just as I get to about 100ft from the ground, im hit with seemingly hurricane force winds that suddenly throw my plane left, right, up, or down, out of nowhere.
I wouldnt mind if this was happening all the way down while landing, because I could get used to whats happening and adjust, but it always happens just as im past my minimums and about to land.
This happened to me on smaller planes to a lesser extent, but ive been flying the Cessna CJ4 lately and it seemingly happens more, and more intensely, in this plane.
I dont think im flying too slowly or anything either and stalling out. Im usually at about 110 to 115 knots at this stage just before landing, which is my usual Vapp (according to the FMC).
Is this kind of sudden turbulence and wind at ~100ft above ground something that happens in real life, or is this an MSFS24 thing? Is there any way to account for this when landing? What i should be doing to avoid crashing my plane when this happens?
I have not updated anything since my last 737 MAX flight yesterday, where the AP did work as it did many flights before then.
I'm diverting back to Kona and I'll restart MSFS, since I assume this is just an unlucky dice roll for this flight, but does anyone know what causes this?
