Greenscreen Music Videos

Greenscreen Music Videos

Hi all, I'm looking into shooting a greenscreen music video for a metalcore band that I'm in. I have 2-3 years of editing with Davinci Resolve and I've looked into blender for a few days now. As a reference I'm using this since I think this darker style is more forgiving with chroma keying: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqRYBWyvbRo

I have a cheap 1.8x2.8m greenscreen so I can only individually film bandmembers. Drums will be the most challenging part. I've never shot green screen footage and only used "good" testfootage for chroma keying. From what I've learned I should get at least 1m away from the green screen to avoid spilling and try my best to light it evenly with no wrinkles.

My plan would be to shoot each member from the front, side and back. That gives me at least 15 takes (we are 5 members). Those takes would be used to comp some live like perfomance takes and single close up takes. How would you go about creating a darker styled 3D scene to blend the members into a virtual environment? I was thinking about using something like this: https://gen.krea.ai/images/8a7d9c91-19f1-5a5d-828c-58721793a357.png

Tutorials I've found so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lG6yirzStTM and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKokIackYdo

Are there any other tutorials I could look into? I'm going to shoot testfootage first before I actually do 15 takes. Thank you!
