Hormonal acne and hyperpigmentation progress
So this is my skin update from January to May. I’ve been trying to get rid of my hyperpigmentation since 2024 and I was using too many things making my skin worse, once I figured out my skin barrier was damaged what I did was simplifying my skincare routine, I also stopped picking my skin and completely stopped using actives and focused on hydrating and repairing my skin barrier. First two months I was using a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, then the third month I started to add actives, this time I decided to try the ordinary Mandelic acid because I’ve already tried: glycolic acid, azelaic acid, adapalene, other retinols and everything was irritating and my skin was super red
