As the title implies, I've been farming Ordonite Processor for several days now with no luck, if anyone as one they could send my way, it would be much appreciated! In EST Time Zone but available pretty much any time today!
For the Nightmare Rift Phosephene weapons like Fearstalker, Kor, etc. Has anyone gotten a drop from the boss during the campaign? I was running my Vex through the DLC, and got the Kor Phosphene from the Ice Maw encounter in the first story mission.
If this is repeatable, are there other story bosses that can appear in Nightmare Rifts like Ice Maw that may be a more efficient farm to quit and restart a mission to farm for the Phosphene instead of hunting for Nightmare Rifts?
As the title suggests, just want to hear fellow vault hunters anecdotal experiences and thoughts regarding the drop rates for the World Drop exclusive Pearls.
For me personally, I play fairly consistently each week, usually farming the Weekly Big Encore for the Phosphene or other drops. In the time since the World Drop Pearls update, I've gotten a total of 3 drops in an estimated 20-30 hours of serious farming, which feels appropriate for their rarity. This week alone I have spent about 7-8 hours grinding Sidney Pointylegs for the Noisy Cricket Phosphene and got zero Pearls in that time.
I see streamers/content creators complaining about these World Drops being "too common", and that just simply isn't the case for the average player that can't devote 8 hours a day to grinding for drops.
Another important factor to consider is the wide variance in drop quality due to the parts system, not only for a specific manufacturer roll, but also the Pearl parts that can dramatically influence DPS. This, along with the likelihood of more Pearls being added to the World Drop pool makes it even harder to get the roll/weapon you might want.
I hope Gearbox won't give in to the vocal minority, and keep the drops rates where they are for now, and continue to gather data before making any knee-jerk changes in a future update.
