NEEEED HELP mounting a 100" TV. Any advices?

Just bought a Hisense U6 100" TV and now I'm realizing the mount is probably not something I should cheap out on lol. It’s much bigger and heavier than anything I've mounted before so I'm looking for something that actually supports the size and weight, and feels completely solid once it’s on the wall. Anyone here mounted a TV this big? What mount should should I choose?

Had no choice but to mount the TV here lol

Really didn’t want to move the table underneath, so I ended up just mounting the TV higher on the wall instead. Went with a Perlegear mount and honestly it feels way more solid than I expected. No wobble or anything even with the TV pulled out a bit.

Not gonna lie it’s higher than I originally planned 😂 but I’m slowly getting used to it. What do you guys think of the setup overall?

This little corner has everything I need

This is pretty much where I end up every night. Lights down, something on TV, and my dog just chilling next to me. Didn’t have a ton of space so I mounted the TV on the wall. Can tilt it a bit depending on how I’m sitting, way more comfortable that way.

Been thinking about getting rid of the TV stand and just mounting the TV to clean things up a bit. It’s a TCL 85” (around 83 lbs), so I’m trying to play it safe and look for something rated at least 100 lbs. If you’ve got a big TV mounted, what did you end up using? Any recommendations?

I keep seeing people comment "r/TVTooHigh" under TV setup posts, and now I'm honestly curious where everyone personally draws the line.

Is it strictly about whether the center of the screen is at eye level when seated, or do you think room layout, couch height, reclined seating, and viewing distance change the standard a bit?
