I have a 2-3 year old Hisense window AC/heat combo unit, maybe around 12k BTU.

Last fall I neglected clearing leaves away from the outside of the unit and there were a LOT packed around it. One day I turned it on and it suddenly shut off and has been dead ever since.

The weird thing is the plug still has power. It’s one of those plugs with the indicator/reset light and the light comes on when plugged in, but the AC itself does absolutely nothing when I press the power button. No beep, no display, no fan, nothing.

I already checked the house breaker and the reset button on the plug.
