Rolling on 5MAPB - PLÜR shot plus PLÜR tabs
This past Saturday night, my friend and I reserved a campsite at a local state park and we both rolled on PLÜR products.
For reference, this is my 3rd time taking PLUR and I have a lot of previous experience with what hopefully was MDMA about 25 years ago. Who knows what was in those E pills back in the day! Last time I took 5MAPB or any empathogen was January 25 or 111 days. My friend has never taken 5MAPB before and had only taken MDMA a couple of times about 15 years ago.
Also, important to note that I take 60MG of adderall daily but for this roll, I skipped all my doses and hadn’t taken any adderall for about 27 hours at the time I dosed PLUR. When I dosed back in January, I took my adderall like normal the day of dosing with my final adderall dose being around 6 hours before I took PLUR. I believe the adderall has some cross tolerance with 5MAPB as they are both amphetamines and that caused me to have a shorter roll(about 2-2.5 hours of euphoria before transitioning slowly to more of an amphetamine type high for a couple hours).
For those of you who take daily stimulants for ADHD, I can tell you that there’s a huge difference in the duration of PLUR’s effects if you skip the stimulants the day of dosing. At least for me, the euphoria lasted about double the time of my previous experience. See timeline below.
6:30 - my friend and I both drank an entire chilled PLUR shot(100MG). The taste wasn’t the best but it wasn’t awful either. I’ve heard that 5MAPB with no flavoring is just terrible so considering that, the taste was fine.
We also brought 6 PLUR tabs(25MG each) for redosing. Now I had previously taken initial dose of 125MG back in January and wanted to try that initial dose again while being off adderall for the whole day. However, I decided to start with just the shot in case it hit faster and more intensely than I anticipated.
7:00 - around this point, my friend and I both felt the slightest of effects coming on and they didn’t intensify quickly. As such, we decided to take 1 PLUR tab each(125 MG total so far). I still consider this part of the initial dose rather than a redose since it was taken only 30 minutes after the PLUR shot.
7:15 - first true euphoria effects start to set in. Around this time, my friend told me he had about 5-10 mins of come up anxiety as the effects got stronger. However, he mostly blamed this on the fact that there was a family of 4 who rented a cabin about 100 feet from us and they had come outside around this time.
7:30 - this is about the time I’d say I was fully rolling. My friends come up anxiety has completely faded and he told me he was also fully rolling. We are both feeling great! We had built a small fire and just chilled and started talking about anything and everything.
The transition from sober to rolling was quicker than last time, due to the PLUR shot I assume. Other than my friend’s short period of come up anxiety, neither of us had any issues with the come up. I had no anxiety, neither of had any nausea nor did we vomit. the transition to a different state of mind was not an issue for us overall.
8:30 - the roll continued to intensify gradually and we were starting to peak. Feelings of euphoria were very strong and we both noticed slight vision changes. I was able to see the fire reflecting on the leaves and it just looked different and amazing. I don’t have the right words to explain it really but to clarify, it wasn’t like the visual acuity or visuals I get with mushroom type products or LSD. MDMA used to make my vision very shaky(or maybe it was whatever those pills were adulterated with, who knows) but I didn’t really experience that either during this experience. Regardless, we decide redose another 2 PLUR tabs each(175MG total).
Also, At this point I notice my friend’s pupils are huge, like bowling balls! Mine however are just slightly dilated, which is interesting as I always used to get dilation from mdma in the past. I didn’t think to look back in January if the PLUR dilated my eyes as that was a solo experience. Either way, we are both just talking and drinking our Gatorade and water. Overall just enjoying this wonderful compound. It’s starting to get dark and fireflies came out which was fun to watch.
9:00 - still rolling hard and just feelings of euphoria and happiness. my friend and I hadn’t hung out in awhile so we just caught up on all kinds of things, from talk about our wives to sports to music, anything that came to our minds. We also were laughing a lot as we were both in extremely good moods.
9:30 - the redose is now kicking in hard and we both notice a slight increase in the strength of the roll. It was around this time in the roll that I began to lose euphoria last time but not on this night. I realize skipping the adderall for a day is greatly increasing both the duration of effects and the intensity.
We put on some music, but unfortunately we didn’t have much downloaded and our service was spotty at best so streaming wasn’t an option. Listened to some tracks Robert miles - dreamland(which I used to listen to often back in the day while rolling). Also sampled some tool, Linkin park and zebra head - waste of mind. like I said, we didn’t have the best music for rolling but we couldn’t play it loud anyway due to the proximity of the campsites so it was all good.
10:00 - we are just flowing through the peak and having a great time talking. We also planned out our next roll, which ironically will be exactly 111 days of rest for me again. Labor Day weekend!
Also, my friend keeps getting the urge to stand and move. he would stand for 10 mins, sit for 5, then repeat. He said he was getting strong amphetamine vibes along with the euphoria and he couldn’t stay seated for too long.
11:30 to 2:00- around 11:30 or so is when I think I started coming down. Honestly, the comedown was so gradual and gentle that I didn’t even notice until I suddenly realized around 12:05 that I was no longer rolling. I still had what felt like a strong amphetamine high, as if I had dosed a ton of adderall. I asked my friend if he still had euphoria and he said yes but it has lost intensity. Around 12:30, he told me still was not sober but no more euphoria, just the aforementioned amphetamine high. So I’d say I rolled for about 4.5 hours and he rolled for 5 hours. We packed up around 1:30 as we never intended to stay overnight and then continued just hanging out as the comedown continued.
2:15 - still very alert and wide awake but the lingering amphetamine high has passed and I’m now completely sober. My friend and I leave the site and drive home. I was in bed by 3:10 and my Apple Watch tells me I was asleep by 3:35. So 9 hours from initial dose to sleep. A little under 8 hours of euphoria or amphetamine type effects. My friend reports that he fell asleep around 4:00.
Next day - I slept about 7 hours and although still a bit tired from the previous night, I have a great afterglow. I was in a great mood all day Sunday and that has persisted through today. I called my friend and he had no negative day after effects either, just tired from lack of sleep.
Overall, we both had a great experience! The plan is to start with 150MG next time plus a redose amount that we haven’t determined yet(probably 50MG). If possible, I also plan on skipping the adderall for about 48 hours next time I try PLUR to see if there is an additional increase in intensity and/or duration.
One more thing to note, I did not have any jaw clenching whatsoever. Now this is expected for me as I can take 100Mg of adderall over the course of 6-8 hours and not get jaw clenching due to my tolerance. However, my friend also did not have a problem with jaw clenching. He just said he had the urge to chew on something for periods of time. The gum with crystals we had didn’t work as he did have some dry mouth but the bag of clementines I brought saved the day! Lol Best thing you can eat on 5MAPB, or any empathogen, IMO.
My friend and I can’t wait to experience PLUR again in the early fall. I can’t say enough how wonderful this compound is! thanks to Judd and Avens for bringing 5MAPB to market and for the transparency provided for all your products.
