Put a Deposit on a Brand New LC300 4.0 GXR… Now I’m Second Guessing the 3.5TT

LC300 owners, I need some honest opinions from people who’ve actually lived with both the 4.0 V6 and the 3.5TT ( I’m aware this has been asked around a 100 times )

I was originally planning to buy a used Patrol from Al Futtaim, randomly dropped by the Toyota showroom, saw the LC300 in person and completely fell in love with it. Ended up putting a deposit down on a brand new 2026 4.0L V6 GXR for around AED 304k on road.

Now after doing more research, YouTube videos, Reddit threads etc, I’m starting to second guess whether I should’ve gone for the 3.5TT instead.

For my budget, I can only afford the 4.0 brand new. If I go 3.5TT, it would have to be a pre owned 2025 GXR.

What I really want to know from actual owners is:

- How different does the ride genuinely feel between the 4.0 and 3.5TT?

- Is the extra power something you constantly notice in daily GCC driving?

- Does the 4.0 feel underpowered once you get used to the car?

- Is the cabin refinement/suspension noticeably different?

- Any reliability concerns long term with the TT compared to the naturally aspirated 4.0?

- If you owned both or drove both extensively, which one would you personally choose and why?

I’m not someone who drives aggressively all the time, but I do appreciate effortless power and smooth highway driving. At the same time, there’s also something really comforting about a brand new naturally aspirated Toyota V6 that’ll probably outlive me 😂

Would genuinely appreciate real ownership experiences before I fully commit.
