I have a few favorite outfits! Nova and I created our OC outfits together, and our personas wear early game cosmetics which we both love~ (Prophet pants & Bat cape with the elder hairs, niche, I know XD But it is one of the first cosmetics we set our eyes on, and we do love them lots ><)
Personally, another favorite outfit of mine would definitely be the outfit sets from Season of Duets! Sadly, that's one of the Seasons where I was very busy in real life, and was unable to get my hands on a Season Pass... Biggest regret ever... Luckily, the spirits should be returning soon as traveling spirits, so I'd better not miss them this time! XD And a big thank you to rakk for helping me fulfill that dream through art~

🧡 Hey everyone, it's Vincent and Nova, with a big announcement to make! 🧡

We have finalized the backstories of our characters, and here to share it with all of you~
Moreover, we are pleased to announce our collaboration with local artist WHITYY, who will assist Vincent in bringing our characters to life in the form of a digital art book! (Non-profit, of course!)

The art book will include hand drawn illustrations from Vincent & WHITTY, as well as include all artwork of Vincent and Nova we have commissioned from artists in our community~

🌼 Story Synopsis (Spoiler Free!) 🌼
[This is a prequel to how Vincent & Nova are now~]
In their story, newly descended light children earn their place among their people through a sacred coming-of-age trial: a dangerous crossing of the storm-scoured Golden Wasteland. Nova, raised in the Vault of Knowledge, sets out to complete her rite of passage, only to be trapped by a brutal sudden sandstorm and stranded helpless in the wastes. When a deadly Krill moves in to strike, she is saved by Vincent—a headstrong girl from the  Isle of Dawn, who sacrifices her own candle core to give Nova a chance to survive and finish her trial. Left haunted and indebted by the selfless death of a stranger who chose to protect her, Nova refuses to let Vincent’s soul vanish into eternal darkness, defying the natural order of Sky’s cycle of life and death.

Meeting with the Elder of the Isle, Nova bargains to revive Vincent’s fractured spirit, only to discover a devastating cost: Vincent’s darkness-tainted soul has manifested not as a child of light, but as a tiny, docile newborn Krill. Facing potential abandonment to defying the laws of nature themselves, Nova must sacrifice more than she can give to ensure Vincent’s soul can be properly reborn as a child of the light.

This is a journey of kindness and friendship, as well as asking us, how far would you go to save someone you cherish and love?

Hey everyone, It's Vincent and Nova here, and we would like to bring your attention to a recent situation that has been affecting us. 🧡

Vincent has always willingly purchased in-app purchases (IAPs) for friends, and continues to do so by choice. However, following the launch of Project Cornucopia, this information became public, which has begun to disrupt our personal lives.

Over the past several days, both of us have received rude DMs from unfamiliar individuals. For Vincent, a number of people have messaged to demand IAP gifts from us, reacting with hostility and anger when their requests are declined, under the assumption that she has unlimited funds. Meanwhile, as others have learned of Nova’s close connection to Vincent, friends have repeatedly reached out to Nova in game, seeking Vincent’s friend code or pressuring her to secure complimentary in-game items on their behalf.

As a result, we have been forced to block and remove numerous users from our friend lists to end this harassment, a situation we find deeply disappointing. It is important to clarify that Vincent is a student holding multiple part-time jobs, meaning her budget is constrained. While she is happy to assist where possible, she cannot accommodate every request. Beyond Project Cornucopia, Vincent retains the personal right to decide which requests she accepts. For this reason, all IAP gift requests are handled exclusively through her personal account, not the official Project Cornucopia account.

This notice is not intended to single out or reprimand anyone who politely reaches out to inquire about IAP gifting or trades. You remain welcome to contact Vincent directly for such requests. Our aim is to highlight unacceptable conduct that we cannot endorse, and to remind all community members not to coerce others into providing gifts or IAP trades.

We sincerely thank everyone who has offered kind support and maintained respectful conduct. We hope Project Cornucopia will continue to encourage generosity and kindness across this community.

I would love to have a pet system added to Sky. Currently in the game, we could only get a small jellyfish following us around after we rescued it at the Days of Sunlight site. As a huge fan of animals and the owner of two parakeets, I would love to be able to have my pets follow me around in the game as well! I feel it would fit perfectly into the vibe of the game too, as we rescue various light creatures in our journey in the world of Sky. 🩷

🧡 Hey everyone, over here in China, the moon is in full swing. It's high time to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with family, friends and loved ones. Our team is happy to announce that from now on, we will host special giveaways commemorating the festivals which inspired "Days of" events in Sky!🧡

Vincent and Nova are here to share some culture on the festival which inspired Days of Moonlight, as well as hold an extra giveaway to celebrate the occasion!

🌙 What Is This Festival About? 🌙
Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节, Zhōngqiū Jié) is one of the biggest Chinese traditional holidays! In short, it's a harvest moon celebration. The moon is at its fullest and brightest that night, so people gather with family, eat mooncakes, drink tea, and moon-watch!

The core theme is reunion. The full moon symbolizes family and loved ones being together, so if you're far from home, you look at the same moon and feel connected. There's a famous poem about this by Su Shi, "may we all be together, even when miles apart."

🌕 The Myth of Chang'e and the Moon 🌕
The most famous story behind the festival is about Chang'e (嫦娥), the moon goddess. The design of the Moonlight Frock, Garland and the bunny accessories in Days of Moonlight are inspired by her story~

Long ago, legend says that there was an archer named Hou Yi. Back when there were ten suns in the sky and everything was scorching, Hou Yi shot down nine of them and saved the world. As a reward, he got an elixir of immortality from the Goddess of the West. He didn't want to take it right away because he didn't want to leave his wife, Chang'e, so he gave it to her to keep.

One version: while Hou Yi was away, a bad guy named Feng Meng tried to steal the elixir. Chang'e, rather than let him have it, drank it herself. However, it turns out the elixir had a terrible side effect. Even though she became immortal, the elixir cursed her to float up to the moon, never to return to earth. The only one who could keep her company on the moon was a single jade rabbit.

When Hou Yi arrived at the scene, he was devastated. He started leaving out her favorite foods, fruits, cakes, as offerings to the moon, hoping she'd come back or at least know he was thinking of her.

Hey all, it’s Vincent here! Over the past few days, I’ve received many offers from everyone to be able to help out with this project :) Thank you for your enthusiastic support! I also agree that with more helpers, future giveaways will be conducted a lot more smoothly ^^

Important Notice:

Recently, I have been experiencing some issues with the Gmail account I linked to this Reddit account. I’ve also considered that my current username (due to it being randomized) is not too recognisable :’) 

Most of my current art posted is also slightly aged, since I have not yet finished rendering pieces of my new skid :'D I'd love to start sharing my newest art with a fresh new start ^^

Therefore, after hosting the first giveaway successfully concludes, I will be using a new Reddit account! I will not delete this old account, and all posts will still be up for everyone to see :) 

Some important posts, such as a re-introduction, a finalized copy of the rules and regulations, rundown of giveaways, will all be reposted onto the new account, so information is easily accessible ^^ I hope the reveal of the improvement in my art will meet everyone's expectations!

Hi guys, it’s Vincent here! After reading and replying to all of your comments and opinions, I’ve revised my weekly giveaway plan! Hopefully these changes cater to everyone’s needs, so our first weekly giveaway starting this Friday is successful :) I’ve also listed more helpful Q&A answers at the bottom, I hope these help! ^^

This post may sound quite complicated, but I do feel it is necessary for everyone to understand how I want to conduct my giveaways :)

Responding to concerns

First of all, I have received many comments regarding the items in the NCD collab and Days of Moonlight returning during the same period. I understand that these are the items in highest demand, and no one would want to miss out on them! Therefore, instead of only a single type of item to be given away each week, I am offering multiple different items to be given, with multiple winners. 

Therefore, before Friday comes, I’d like to inform everyone how to participate in the weekly poll, as well as what to expect the format of the poll to be like!
(The arrangements are tentative and subject to change with your suggestions ^^)

How the poll and giveaway will be conducted is as follows!

Please note that there will only be one poll per week.
In a poll post, you will see a table in this format featured below:

This sample menu will only include 2 options, with option A as the sample format, and option B with specified items for reference:

Here is a detailed rundown on how the giveaway will work:

Let’s use the sample poll menu as reference.

For example, Plan B, NCD Deer horns [1] + bunny headpiece [5], is chosen for the giveaway! This means that there will be a total of 6 winners, where one person will be receiving the Deer horns, and five people receiving the bunny headpiece. The overall chance of winning any prize in this giveaway is now 4%.

The entry for the giveaway is the same as how I usually do it:
After the hosting post is released, anyone who would like to have a chance at receiving EITHER of these items can comment on my post responding to the specified theme stated in the description :)

I will consider the first 150 commenters to be participants in the giveaway.

Next, when it is time to draw the results, I will draw 6 winners in one go. For example, their names in order of being drawn are A, B, C, D, E, F

Because A is the first winner, they had the lowest chance to be chosen (1/150). I also will dm A first, so they can decide on the item they want from the prize pool. For example, A chooses the deer horns. Now, there are 5 bunny headpieces left in stock.

After A, the rest of the winners had a growing chance of being chosen (e.g. the next winner had a 1/149 chance of being chosen, then 1/148, then 1/147 etcetera) so they can choose their gifts in the order that their names were drawn. 

In the case of this example, winners B to F don't have another choice other than the bunny headpiece, because the only item left in stock are 5 bunny headpieces.

However, let's say in another case, that the first winner A already has the deer horns, so they'd rather go for the headpiece. After this, we will still have 1 deer horns and 4 bunny headpieces in stock. What happens next is that the next winner, winner B, becomes next in line to choose, and they can now choose between the deer horns and bunny headpiece. If B also chooses the bunny headpiece, the next person to choose between the deer horns and bunny headpiece will be winner C.

1. Will Office Items be considered for the giveaway? (e.g. Journey Packs)

• In the future! Once I get my hands on a founder’s cape, that is… (Soon, I promise!) I’m also happy to say that I have a Nintendo Switch! Although I haven’t tried buying or gifting with the Nintendo previously, once I figure things out, I’ll throw in the Nintendo starter pack as an option for giveaway as well ^^

1.  Who are the characters in your artwork?

• For the characters I have revealed so far, their names are Ari (Spiky Valley Elder’s hairstyle), Dante (Bob Valley Elder’s hairstyle) and Lachlan (Wasteland Elder’s hairstyle)! I like using them as my miniature messengers, so you’ll see them around in my posts quite often ^^

1. When are you planning to host the art giveaways?

• During milestones this project reaches :) My major focus is still on weekly giveaways for IAPs, and I wouldn’t want art giveaways to use up the quota for those :’) For now, I’ve decided that I’ll be hosting art giveaways when we reach values of $(amount) successfully given! ^^

Hi everyone, Vincent here! Before our first item poll launches on Friday, I’d like to collect some of your opinions through some questions, just to get to know everyone’s preferences better in order to provide the best giveaway experience :)

1. What is the current item you would like to see in a giveaway the most? Some common examples I can think of are Capes, accessories, collab items, “days-of” items and season passes. Any specific one that is currently the most popular? I can host repeated giveaways for items if their demand is high! (e.g. Deer horns for two consecutive weeks) However, would you guys like to see a large bundles of paid candles/seasonal candles being available in a giveaway as well? 
2. Responding to the many positive comments about my art, as well as a few requests on whether my commissions are open, would you guys like to see art giveaways from me as well? (Separate from the regular IAP gifting schedule)

• (In the form of having a profile picture of your Sky-kid/oc drawn! I may not have enough time for half/full body pieces, but I can handle a profile picture or two ^^)

1. Are you planning to host giveaways on other social media platforms?

• Currently, no. I am still assessing my ability to hold a large scale giveaway project here on Reddit, and more than one social media platform would be more than I can handle. It would also be hard to combine the prize pool of those who joined on Reddit, and those who joined on other platforms.

 

1. Will you make different ways of hosting giveaways? Sometimes people do treasure hunting, art contests, or sky photography.

 

• I prefer not to hold competitions when hosting giveaways. I think that things like art are subjective, and if I were to pick a winner based on their art, it would be unfair to others since all art is beautiful in their own way :) The way I plan to keep things fun is to introduce a new 'theme' to comment under the entry post, such as in the NCD IAP giveaway, users were asked to share their favorite season :) However, I'm definitely open to themes involving users sharing their art or photography! I'd just like it to not be competitive and pressuring, so it’s a fun experience for everyone ^^

1. Are the prizes transferable to a friend / alt account?

• Yes, it's not against the rules. I will only be sending the winner one friend request code. You can use it on any account freely. But after you have added me with that account, further changes will not be allowed ^^ But please do not join the giveaway by commenting with more than one Reddit account! This isn’t fair to anyone joining, and let’s be kind to each other :) If you are found out to have done this, I will be forced to stop you from participating in future giveaways, and I would hate to have to do that :(

 

Question regarding personal matters:
Seeing as you're a digital artist, do you post your art anywhere?

• First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for their praise regarding my art. I'm a freelance artist who used to take commissions, but nowadays simply draws for fun :)) I've deleted my old public art account due to a large controversy regarding my art being stolen and posting pressure, so my art is now posted on my private Instagram account :') I plan on sharing more works as I host giveaways <3

How much is your budget for each weekly giveaway?

I have planned to put in around $25.51 to $38.26 USD in this project each week.

Important notice:

• I’d like to be clear that I don’t want any of my art to be reposted, with or without credit. I’m saying this just to be safe, as I have experienced a big controversy involving my art being stolen, and would not like to live through that again :( It is the main reason I have since deleted my public Instagram account.
• This community is one that I have trust with and has grown comfortable enough with to share my work with, and I always want to be honest with everyone. I don’t have any other Western social media accounts besides my private instagram account and this Reddit account.
• In short, I’m still insecure about my art until this day, so I  wouldn’t like seeing my art being reposted on Pinterest, that’s all :’) Treat my art as small secret I’m sharing with you guys within this  circle ^^
• However, you are welcome to use my work for any private uses, such as using it as your profile picture or wallpaper. I would be honored if you do :)
