Question for Food Tech/Science major seniors already working in the industry

Hi. I’m a second-year Food Technology student in the Philippines, and I wanted to ask seniors or graduates who are already working in the food industry for some advice.

I’m trying to be proactive early and build experience while still in college, so I wanted to learn from people who’ve already gone through it.

A few questions:

-Are there any organizations, companies, or institutions you recommend that offer free webinars related to food technology, food safety, QA, R&D, or the food industry in general?

-Have you joined any fellowship, training, or development programs during college that helped you later in your career? How did you find and apply for them?

-Where did you complete your internship/OJT, and did it help you land work or gain useful experience after graduation?

-Looking back, what should a second-year student start doing now to build a strong résumé and become more competitive when applying for internships or jobs in the future?

I’d really appreciate insights from those already working, especially what you wish you had started earlier as a student.
