AIO for wanting my boyfriend and I to have his father move out of our home?
My boyfriend and I live together in a home that he owns. His father has been staying with us for a while, and the situation has become increasingly difficult.
He does not own the home or contribute financially, and he is only staying here with my boyfriend’s permission. Despite that, he behaves as though he has authority over the house and how things are run.
When he doesn’t get his way or is unhappy with something, he reacts in ways that are very disruptive, including slamming doors and creating a tense and uncomfortable environment for everyone in the home.
He also repeatedly tries to bring animals into the house that we do not own and have not agreed to have in the home, despite being told not to.
My boyfriend and I are on the same page about the situation no longer working, and we are considering having him move in with another family member instead. I’m wondering if we would be wrong for doing that.
