Who remembers watching the (original) Australian classic film, Storm Boy? This was the first movie that made me cry...especially after 'that' scene with Mr Percival💔😿
It also features a young David Gulpil, who interestingly enough is credited just as 'Gulpil'.
My older sister and I loved our Family Treehouse...until one day during a sisterly scuffle, one of of us landed on top of the treehouse and breaking the spring - therefore trapping the Family inside forever more!🤪😆

My Mum used to be an Avon lady when I was little. Apparently she used to sometimes take me with her (to boost sales??!🤔😆).
I loved the pink bubble bath and the brooches that had perfume cream in them. I remember my older sister had quite a collection! ❤️

Who remembers reading Smash Hits magazine?
I remember spending my pocket money on issues of Smash Hits magazine.
My classmates' and my school books and homework diaries were like collages of our magazine pics that we artfully created.
I personally think that during the 1980s was when the magazine was at its peak (trivial fact...Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys was once a writer for the UK version of the magazine)❤️😎
I loved going on the Rotor at Luna Park...
One time I stupidly wore a skirt and my boyfriend had to peel me off the wall after the ride had finished 🫣😳

Bryan Brown and Sam Neill had a true friendship.
Sam could be an honorary Australian, from the amount of Australian films he starred in! Some of which co-starring alongside each other (Dirty Deeds, Sweet Country and Palm Beach).
One of my favourite roles is of Pete the kiwi, alongside Dave the goose...voiced by Sam Neill and Bryan Brown, respectively.

Doug Mulray was on Triple M when I was in high school.
His radio shows were hil-arious...his bawdy humour and his awesome taste in music influenced my ears and years!
Who could forget the crazy antics of Uncle Doug, Miss Lizzie (who became his wife), Cheeky the furry banana and a young Andrew Denton as the work experience kid.
And not forgetting the time when Kerry Packer famously pulled the plug out during 'Australia's Naughtiest Home Videos'😆
He also had a surprising hit with the song 'You are Soul'😆😆😆
Who remembers this show during the time of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The Olympics were even more entertaining with Roy and HG's cheeky commentary.

Hosted by Wendy Harmer, and regular cast included Glynn Nicholas (Pate Biscuit and Bongo the puppet), Anthony Ackroyd and his character who worked for the advertising agency 'BloJo', Jean Kittson, Flacco, the Empty Pockets (one half you may recognise from the Chase!) and of course the Doug Anthony All-stars! (my friends and I had a bit of a crush on Tim Ferguson 😻)

I used to love the excitement of the audience when they waited in anticipation for their name to called...and then to run down to the stage to guess 'the new price is right' with host IIIIIannn Tuuurrrrpiiiie! To win the showcase at the end was pretty cool (you could have one a Suburu car, back in the day!)😆❤️
