Tried using pressure blending as my practice for this one.

I wasn’t a fan of this. I still am not. Because I’m getting a feel for how these things work, I still feel heavy handed and clumsy with them. How do you all get detail with layering ? I find I can’t get color on top of another color bc it won’t apply easily.

Everyday I’m trying oil pastels. Beginner here, and I’m loving how free I feel when using them. Here are two that I did.
I use them on about 3x4 and 4x6 sized watercolor paper.
My sketch was done with alcohol markers, and some of the background of each. I love how chunky they can be.
I’m finding them quite waxy though, I’m using an inexpensive pack from Artist Loft. Are there other brands that are more creamy and smooth that you guys recommend?

This collection was made in homage to the culture I was raised in, my mother, and women like Flo Jo, who inspired me and I looked up to. Still to this day, I wear embellished nails and use that as one way to express myself.

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my most recent ACEO’s, acrylic pen and patterned paper on cardstock.
These were so much fun to make, as I was testing out some acrylic click pens I received recently. I listed them on TG as well.

Yall know I love painting MJ! My original of this is 8x11 in, but I finally made 3.5x2.5 inch prints! They’re so cute!
