Don't Be That Owner That Refuses To Replace An Ice Machine
I work at a restaurant and I can't understand the logic of the owner not replacing the ice machine. We get it fixed and it breaks again a month later. The ice machine is 16 years old. I understand that there is a lot of upfront cost to getting a new machine but at a certain point tens of thousands of dollars are being wasted in the long run. The owner would rather have the managers spead $1,000 a week on ice, plus the cost to repair the ice machine each time it gets "fixed."
