Strange Southern Scotland bird…
Saw 3 of these in a field flying from tree to tree , slightly smaller than a wood pigeon (collared dove sized maybe?)

Little egrets in the Borders?
Me and my boyfriend have collectively seen 5 little egrets this past week in the Scottish Borders, but they don’t appear to be usual here according to the RSPB map. Has anyone else seen the same? Why might they be here now?
