My god these little feathery bullets (or sand martins as they are normally called) are hard to photograph!!

This a photo taken on the banks of the River Ewe in Poolewe (Scotland) of an extremely fast Sand Martin swooping and diving over the surface of the water!

Little Wren (I think) got stuck in the chair

Helped them out of the chair and they ran behind the shed hope they’re ok on their own. I’ve seen the parents around and they didn’t seem injured. I’m just worried about neighbours cats getting to them

A bath of Starlings

Starlings have only just been coming to the garden in the last three weeks! They've figured out the treasure trove of a bird bath is, in fact here.

Baby Kestrels at Old Moor

There were about four of them at one point. This one made a haphazard leap from the roof.

Buzzard, Nottingham.

Such a lovely sighting but made its feelings known.

Is this a crow or a raven?

We’ve been feeding this crow with it babies - we think it’s a single mother/father as he/she is only with their babies and no other adult bird
Is it a single parent crow or raven? He/she trusts us enough to now eat out our hands !
She/he huge for a crow if she/he is a crow but doesn’t have a raven beak so unsure so maybe a male crow?

Little visitor, but which type of thrush?

This little person arrived to say hello on our decking. What a lovely visitor; what joy! Just wondering what type of thrush he/she is? Are they fairly young? Looked happy and chubby enough and in good condition 🥰

Are these hedge sparrows?

There's a hedge between my neighbours' garden and mine. They live in the hedge. Hence my guess at hedge sparrow. They often come down and drum their chests against the soil on my raised bed.

Apologies for the zoomed in photos. My phone camera isn't the best and I took the photo through my window.

I do have a proper camera and the battery is on charge if it will help.

What bird is this?

Callander, Scotland. Small bird, white body with black wings in an almost swift shape whilst in flight. There are lots of them nesting in this lodge. Sorry for the bad pics they are fast flying!

Enjoy some of my photos from Bempton Cliffs.

Hard to get the puffins with only a 200mm lens, a little late in the year for them also.

What to do?

This little one has been in and around our driveway for the last 3-4 days. Has the survival instincts of a Dodo. Not flying yet. Walks around with a constant noise I can only describe as a whimper.

I googled it and found that we shouldn't be feeding unless injured.

So, what should I do?
