Guests App not sending invitation emails on NC 33.0.2

Hi,

Since recently, the Guests App stopped sending invitation emails when I share a folder with an external email address. The guest account gets created, but no email arrives and the guest has no way to set a password.

The log shows:
"No password token found for guest "user@example.com", skipping invitation email"

I also noticed that the setting "Use a hash of the email address as user ID for better privacy" in the Guests App config got turned on by itself, probably after an update. And now I can't turn it off anymore through the GUI, the toggle seems to be stuck.

Not sure if that's related, but the timing lines up.

Things I already tried:
- Disabling and re-enabling the Guests App
- Manually sending a welcome email via Settings → Users (works fine)

This affects every new guest, not just one specific address. Nothing was changed on the server before this started happening.

Running NC 33.0.2.2, Guests App 4.7.2

Anyone else seeing this?

Update: I just tested inviting a guest via the + button in the top right of Contacts. Same dialog, same fields and the welcome email went out without any issues.
So the problem seems to be specific to creating a guest from within the folder sharing dialog. When the guest account is created that way, no invitation email is sent. Via Contacts it works fine.

Just switched from Windows 11 Pro to Fedora 44 Workstation. Pass, Mail, and VPN are running fine (though the VPN UI is a bit ugly).
The problem is Proton Auth. It opens for like 0.1 seconds, shows a white window, and then immediately closes.
I installed it via the RPM from the official site and followed the dnf instructions. I found a support article suggesting it's a GPU acceleration bug. Running it from the terminal with the WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 proton-authenticator fixes it, but the fix isn't permanent. As soon as I close and reopen the app normally, it crashes again.
Has anyone managed to disable GPU acceleration permanently for Proton Auth on Fedora? Or is there a config file I need to edit so I don't have to launch it via terminal every time? Like I said I‘m new to Linux so sorry if its obvious.

Thanks
