I know I would do a Gloomstalker, but I’d have to forfeit the Radiant damage and perks a Paladin or even a Cleric provide.

My best bet is to hope the GM would homebrew Smites to work, but even so, staying back for the eventual Aura has no point. Even if I go Cleric for Spirit Guardians, that is really more of a melee spell if not for enclosed spaces.

Is a Cleric truly my answer, or perhaps there’s an out-of-left-field answer?
