I’m thinking of buying a refurbished Vanmoof s3.
Anyone with some experiences or recommendations?
I’ve seen Moofje, Van Foom and Remoof who sell refurbished bikes.
They all have multiple options for example with new cables and a steering limiter.
Or just simply give up on the s3?
I’m planning to buy a VanMoof S5 but after reading reviews online I’m still seeing a lot of reliability complaints about the post takeover S5.
What are your real-world experiences? Is it worth the risk, or should I just go with a Veloretti?
The main reason I’m leaning towards the S5 is the 32 km/h US mode — if that wasn’t possible, the Veloretti would honestly be my first choice. Based in Amsterdam so the service network isn’t an big issue for me.
